Founding Philosophy of the Alliance
Our Green Valley Alliance for Sustainability was born from an increasing awareness of the negative impact of human activities on our environment. Many persons in the Wabash Valley are already engaged in various activities to change that impact. To increase the potential of such activities, the White Violet Center for Eco-Justice invited a number of persons to a meeting in January of 2009 to plan ways to expand awareness of that impact and to help those living in the Wabash Valley to learn better how to use the valuable resources here to create a healthier environment.
